Paul Roebuck has been described as a drum geek, someone who lives, breathes and sleeps drums! An avid player and educator Paul has been exploring the world of drums and percussion for over 14 years.
During this time he has earned a 1st Class BMus Degree in Music Performance, organised music for carnivals, enthused many young (and not so young) drummers and played numerous live shows from Panto and Musicals to Rock, Metal and Big Band Swing.
He currently is based on Hayling Island on the South Coast of England, where he operates out of his home teaching and recording studio. Even if you don't find him playing drums he will probably still be thinking about them.
Latest Update
In the New Year I thought 110 students a week was a lot, it's closer to 150 now as we enter the final half term until the summer holiday. I recently ran a workshop for a district scout camp and saw over 300 drummers that weekend!
Gigging wise, It's been quite busy, playing across a variety of genres, functions and venues and am looking forward to playing a few small festivals over the summer.
I've made an effort in the last year to go to more shows rather than working all the time which has been great. I recently saw Ramin Djawadi (Game Of Thrones) and I've got Paul Simon and both Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones in concert coming up over the next few months which I'm looking forward to.
